It was heartwarming to see patients walking out of hospitals amid applause by doctors and health workers. Those cured can be motivated to share their experiences with people to allay anxiety and fear associated with Covid-19. It will also motivate symptomatic patients to come forward on their own without fearing stigmatisation, thus helping in prevention.

All the 10 patients were given a warm send-off by doctors and health workers who also clapped for them to boost their morale.
